Markeith's Story

 

DOD: September 9, 2018

Markeith Bass, of Setter Court, was struck and killed early on September 9, 2018 by a hit and run driver on Trinity Lane near Brick Church Pike. He was 34 years old.        

Bass was crossing Trinity Lane at 1:10 a.m. when he was struck by an eastbound vehicle, possibly a newer model maroon SUV. Bass was not in a crosswalk.  He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died.      

He is survived by his mother, Beverly (Alfred) Bass; grandmother, Mamie (Henry) Bass; siblings, Kendra (Mark) Carey, Shelley Bass, Kizzie Weir, Damien Grimmett; stepson, Jacob McDaniel; and many other relatives and friends.
